If you’re using Facebook and don’t yet use the tagging functionality then it’s time to step up your Facebook usage. I love the tagging feature!
If you want to mention your business in a post that you put on your personal profile, you can tag your Facebook business page. This then makes it super easy for your friends to click over to your Facebook page.
Or if you’re at an event with other business friends you can tag them and the place in a status update. Or if you share a photo with Facebook friends in it, tag them so they know.
On your business page you can tag other business pages that you might want to mention in a post. Perhaps you are crediting them for a good article or work well done.
There are many ways you can use tagging and it is simple to do.
When writing a status update simply use the @ symbol. As soon as you use that symbol and start typing the name of the page or person you wish to tag, Facebook will bring up all the relevant options and you simply click the right one.
That’s it.
On the reverse side, when someone adds a tag of you to a post or photo, your friends may see what you’re tagged in on Facebook. The tagged post also goes on your profile.

Information about Facebook tagging is wonderful. I will use this concept for my website.
