Five simple ways to promote your website

5 Ways to Promote your WebsiteYour website is the most valuable tool in your online marketing toolkit. So make sure it’s highly visible and easy for people to click over to it! Here are five quick and simple ways to promote your website.

1. Put a link to your website (and blog if you have one) in your email signature.

2. If you have a Facebook page for your business, make sure the link to your website is fully visible on the page. Put it at the beginning of the ‘About’ section, don’t bury it deep in the page description where no one can find it (we’re constantly surprised at how many business pages don’t have their website address in the about section – it’s a potentially costly mistake!).

3. It’s a no-brainer, but include your website address on everything you print offline – posters, menu’s, business cards, presentation handouts, advertising banners, letterhead, notepads, pens or other promotional items, receipts – yes, we really do mean everything! Don’t forget about the things you publish online too!
